On May 21, 2009, U.S. Embassy representatives Lianna Sahakyan and Lusine Mkrtchyan gave a presentation at the American Corner in Kapan on "U.S. Embassy Programs in Armenia." The presentation covered U.S. Embassy cultural and educational programs and the Democracy Commission Grant program that the U.S. government is currently undertaking in Armenia.
Lianna Sahakyan presented the Democracy Commissions Grant program and answered to questions. More than 20 people from different NGOs attended the presentation. The presentation was highlighted by local TV channels "Khustup" and "Sosi" TV.
