American Idealist: The Story of Sargent Shriver

On February 27, 2008, the Kapan American Corner organized a movie program with the Peace Corps. The movie was called "American Idealist: The Story of Sargent Shriver." The movie was produced by his daughter, Maria Shriver, who is the niece of John F. Kennedy and the wife of California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. Before the movie, PC volunteer April West presented information about the Peace Corps. A discussion followed the movie.
The event was highlighted by the local television channels “Sosi” and “Khustuph TV”.
