On October 9, 2007, at the American Corner in Kapan, a presentation entitled “Learn about America’s Beautiful Nature” took place as part of an “Americans at the American Corner” presentation series. The lecture was given by U.S. Peace Corps volunteer Sarah Snowbarger. Ms. Snowbarger spoke about the peculiarities of America’s Nature. She showed beautiful images of America, including pictures of both American flora and fauna.
Those present were interested in various aspects of American nature. Sarah promised that she will give another presentation at a later date.
The teachers of biology and natural sciences, members of nature preservation NGOs, school children interested in natural sciences, and older students took part in the event. The event was recorded by the local television channel “Khustup” TV.
